is a memoir series of essays, from the front-lines during the Battle for Mosul in Iraq. The journey is a discovery at ground zero of the our human condition. It’s my Story. Your story, where I examine the intricacies of war, self-actualization and soul-healing, tribalism, and sacred spiritual self. This is the story of a female war correspondent, grappling with how we all belong.

This Work is a poetic love story of our connection to the Body, to the Earth and our deepest Soul. From disruption to joy, we fell from the heavens, and are refined in the fire. This IS a love story first, to the Self, then to the ones who shape us, to the ones who hurt us, and of course, to the ones who make us. To Oneness raising us up each and every time; This is the poetry of our movement and wild being.

This is a breathless, gritty love story, exposing a soulful journey. Through prose and rhyme, the words read like a meditative exploration of both bliss and brokenness. It moves through moments of raging self-empowerment to self-sacrifice in spaces of spiritual awareness and sensual bonding to heartbreak, an aesthetic rebellion on a mission to be honest and vulnerable.
